Our Story
From an early age, Aline demonstrated a sustained fascination with antique shops and museums — environments where objects function as vessels of memory, history, and narrative. This early sensitivity to material culture and the passage of time continues to inform her artistic practice.
Nature occupies a central place in her work and worldview. Aline maintains a profound respect for the animal world, developed through years of horse riding, an experience that cultivated balance, discipline, and an acute awareness of non-verbal communication. This relationship with living forms has shaped her understanding of presence, rhythm, and embodied dialogue.
A formative impulse toward transformation marked her childhood. She actively altered her immediate environment — painting walls, modifying furniture, and reconfiguring space — an exploratory practice encouraged by her mother, whose support allowed for early experimentation and creative autonomy. This freedom became foundational to her artistic development.
Ceramics and sculpture emerged as a natural extension of this trajectory. Through clay, Aline found a primary language: a medium through which memory, nature, tactility, and temporality converge. Her works are guided by instinct and precision, bearing traces of lived experience while engaging with form, material resistance, and time. Each piece reflects a dialogue between control and intuition, grounding her practice in both tradition and personal narrative.
